Do you only play Mozart?

No! Although we do play some Mozart, we play repertoire of all styles and periods.

How often do you perform?

We perform two concerts per year, either in Paine Hall or in Sanders Theatre.

How big is the MSO?

We are a chamber orchestra, with around 40 members.

How do I audition?

Auditions are held at the beginning of each semester, and you can sign up on our auditions page. That page also has more detailed information about the auditions process.

How much of a time commitment is MSO?

Rehearsals are held in Paine Hall every Tuesday from 7:00-9:30PM.
