Winter Concert: Paradigm Shift
Come to the Mozart Society Orchestra’s Fall 2019 concert on Saturday, December 7th!
Our concert will be a true departure from the (exclusive) classical music norm, featuring lesser known repertoire and pieces from under-represented composers. We will be shifting the dialogue to hear from areas of classical music that are not heard from as often!
With works by Chevalier d’Saint George, Parry, Mascagni, and more, join us at the University Lutheran Church on 66th Winthrop Street for an ear-opening experience put on by the friendliest orchestra on campus! Tickets are also free for all!
Brandenburg Concerto No. 3 in G Major by Johann Sebastian Bach
Danse sacrée et danse profane by Claude Debussy
Symphony No. 2 in D Major by Chevalier de Saint-Georges
Cavalleria Intermezzo by Pietro Mascagni
An English Suite by Charles Hubert Parry
Conducted by Benjamin Perry Wenzelberg ’21 and Ryan Zhang ’21.
