SHO Yamasaki, piano – was born in Tokyo, Japan. He first studied the piano with Aki Kawazoe and Yuzo Asaka, awarded for the four-hand performance in Tokyo. In Cambridge, he has been studying piano with Timothy McFarland, held the solo recital at MIT Killian hall this April as a MIT Emerson music scholar. He is also studying chamber music with David Deveau and Jean Rife, actively engaging himself in the chamber music activity at the multiple locations such as Boston Music Institute. He is currently doing a joint degree program of Harvard Kennedy School (MPA) and MIT Sloan School of Management (MBA). Prior to this program, he worked in the consulting and financial auditing field as a CPA.
