Yizhe Sun ’25 is a Conductor and Pianist studying Physics and Music. He is originally from Shanghai, China, and currently proudly lives in Lowell House. Despite being mainly a STEM student hoping to become a future researcher, he has also dreamed about becoming a conductor since his first visits to the symphony halls in Shanghai. Now, he enjoys studying conducting with Federico Cortese at Harvard. Outside of music, he is passionate about the natural sciences. Yizhe joined MSO as a pianist in his first year and is excited to become one of the MDs for the orchestra.
